In 2017 I was asked to be part of the 100 Words Film Festival Board of Directors. I jumped at the chance because I love the movies. But I had never even heard of the festival. Which was the problem I was tasked with helping overcome. Still, I wasn’t sure what to expect.

Then last November, I attended the two-day festival at the McGlohon Theater and it all made sense as tightly-crafted films with exactly 100 words moved me in ways I didn’t think was possible. So much is achievable when you open your heart and mind to new ideas.
